Terms

Plainly, and briefly. If something here seems unfair, say so — it is easier to change than you would expect.

What this is

ArchAI Parish lets people share prayer intentions with their parish or a chosen circle, and lets them ask a parish questions that are answered from what that parish has published. Using the app or calling a parish line means these terms apply to you.

It is not pastoral care

Answers are generated from documents a parish has published. They are not spiritual direction, not counselling, not medical or legal advice, and not the word of a priest. Anything personal, moral, or pastoral belongs with a person — and the app will tell you so rather than attempt it.

If you are in danger, contact emergency services or a crisis line. In the United States, call or text 988. This app cannot help you in an emergency and does not alert anyone on your behalf.

What you write

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you chose to share it with, and nothing beyond that. We do not use it to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

Do not post another person’s private information without their consent — somebody else’s diagnosis is theirs to share. Do not post abuse, advertising, or anything unlawful. Intentions are checked before publication and anything that fails is not published; repeated abuse ends an account.

Parish accounts

A parish subscription is billed monthly at the price agreed, with no contract and no notice period — cancel and it stops at the end of the month. Parish staff are responsible for what their parish publishes and for marking internal documents as internal. Parishioners are never charged for anything.

Telephone numbers are held on the parish’s behalf. If a parish leaves, we do not release its number to somebody else without asking.

Accuracy

Answers come from what a parish has published, and a parish’s bulletin can be out of date. We do our best to refuse rather than guess, but check anything that matters — a funeral, a holy day, a Mass you would travel for — with the parish office.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any moment from inside the app, and everything under it goes with it. We may close an account that is being used to abuse other people, and we will say why.

The legal minimum

The service is provided as it is, without warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
